Schedule Changes While Attending The Home Recording Academy

As some of you know, I have waited a while to enroll in the Home Recording Academy. I’m happy to announce that I am officially a member of the class of Feb 2023! 🎉🎉🎉
I have been reflecting on how to adjust my current schedule to accommodate the needs of the course. I’ve decided to reduce how many open mics I attend and probably only go about once a month rather than once a week. As a result, I will have fewer music videos to share on Substack during this time.
Over the last few months, there were a couple of occasions where I filled any gaps with a video I took from home (see The Observer and Into a Lay-By). These videos were to keep the weekly music video schedule going. However, I’ve decided to stop doing this (at least for the time being).
If I have a music video to share, I will continue to share it on Wednesdays as usual. If no video is released, then I don’t have any videos in the queue left, and you will need to wait until I get to an open mic again.
If any of you have been following my new Tarot Tuesdays show, then I’ve also made my live streams fortnightly for the same reason (and to avoid clashes with the live content delivery of my course).
I will see if these are enough changes to allow my full participation in the Home Recording Academy. If I need to take it slower and do some self-care or make other alterations to my schedule/other creative commitments, then I’ll let you know.
